Description

Prism Health North Texas will share the challenges and successes of adapting Ryan White case management tools and strategies to a pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) program for behavioral intervention. Panelists will detail how they took lessons learned from case management to HIV prevention to become status neutral.

Learning Objectives

  1. Apply Ryan White care standards to a patient-centered, integrated HIV prevention program.
  2. Translate how relevant tools, such as acuity assessment, integrated care plans, encounter notes, and risk assessment tools, originated to assist people through HIV care and to people at risk of acquiring HIV.
  3. Introduce a comprehensive PrEP program into an existing integrated HIV care system that includes case management, behavioral health, housing, and other services.
