This workshop will describe how the Los Angeles Area AETC developed an inter-professional practice (IPP) program with the Charles Drew NP program, USC’s School of Pharmacy, UCLA’s School of Medicine, and the West LA’s psychiatric residency program -- along with five Ryan White clinics -- to help develop the next generation of HIV teams.

Panelists will detail how they took lessons learned from case management to HIV prevention to become status neutral.

Review of an intervention focused on client re-engagement in HIV care, given that clients were not being re-engaged in care via local clinic outreach methods. This SPNS Demonstration Model on State Bridge Counseling Re-engagement Intervention employed intensive state/regional field outreach to clients who previously were in care but not consistent users of care and/or out of care for six to nine months.
