Description

This workshop will describe how to develop and implement an integrated team with peers, case managers, behavioral health providers, and medical providers to engage and retain out-of-care women of color in HIV care and treatment.

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe the system, provider and individual factors influencing women and transgender women of color to engage in care.
  2. Gain resources for creating a team and training staff to integrate peer interventions in a clinic and community setting to create partnerships to reach women.
  3. Share resources and tools to work with women and communities to reduce barriers to care.
