Description

Implementation of innovations for End the HIV Epidemic (EHE) efforts requires innovative research/community collaborations. This session presents LA County’s efforts to prepare for long-acting injectable treatment, Miami’s pilot of telemedicine for test-and-treat at a syringe services program, and Philadelphia’s partnership to evaluate a U=U campaign.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the facilitators and barriers to long-acting injectables reported by patients, clinicians and stakeholders in Los Angeles County.
  2. Understand operational requirements and advances to integrate telemedicine for on-site test-and-treat in a syringe service program in Miami.
  3. Understand Philadelphia’s approach to evaluate a U=U campaign and its process of community-informed practices to increase engagement with campaign messages.
