Improving Reengagement in Care: A Community Health Worker Model
In 2021, the City of New Orleans employed five CHWs to work with RWHAP Part A-funded agencies on reengaging eligible clients back into care. Test & Treat Rapid Access Program
Through the Test & Treat Rapid Access (TTRA) Program, clients with a new HIV diagnosis in Miami-Dade County can access ART, receive other services and counseling, start enrolling in RWHAP, and connect to HIV primary care during the initial visit.
