Improvements, nearly across-the-board.
In the U.S., the number of new HIV cases continue to decline, most people are linked to care within one month of their HIV diagnosis, and 69% reach viral suppression within 6 months of HIV diagnosis. (In a measure of the value of being connected over time to a range of health and support services, 89.6% of Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program clients receiving HIV medical care are virally suppressed.)
These findings are summarized in a May 21, 2024 CDC Dear Colleague letter, which condenses data from the three reports, each of which is well over 100 pages long.
