As HIV elimination activities increase, jurisdictions can address HIV/Hepatitis C (HCV) co-infection by enhancing HCV screening and treatment data collection. This session will discuss NASTAD's work with North Carolina to incorporate HCV data in CAREWare and electronic health records (EHRs), as well as recommendations for integrating HCV services into the HIV care infrastructure.

It will explore culturally responsive leadership, transformational leadership, and cultural humility. Facilitators will demonstrate formal and informal leadership skills. Participants will explore different forms and manifestations of stigma, the impact of stigma on health outcomes, and the tenets of intersectionality. There will be discussion on improving factors contributing to stigma and intersectionality that impact the HIV service delivery system. People with HIV are encouraged to attend.

The Learners Education and Practice Portal (LEAPP) developed by the MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC) at the University of Pittsburgh has an integral role in providing AETCs with quality improvement opportunities through the Six Sigma model of quality improvement.

This session will discuss the implementation, outcomes, and future directions associated with the Health Services Center, Inc. Behavioral Health Co-location (BHC) Project. HSC is the sole provider of free HIV and Hepatitis C (HCV) services to a population facing multiple barriers to care (e.g., poverty, education and stigma) in a largely rural 14-county area of northeast Alabama.

Team members will share data around cure rates, reinfection, and engaging with marginalized patients, and discuss leveraging existing Ryan White infrastructure and resources for such efforts.

Panelists will describe collaborative prevention and support services provided to people with HIV and/or hepatitis from incarceration to re-entry. Services addressing social determinants of health are provided in corrections facilities and upon release. Panelists include the program director, staff from a correctional medical facility, and community-based organizations working inside and outside of correction facilities.

This workshop will introduce a practical approach for focused and inclusive conversations about evaluation and HIV program outcomes. Motivational interviewing techniques are applied in the program evaluation context, using examples from Ryan White programs. Using motivational interviewing, the evaluator leads the dance in the desired direction while incorporating stakeholder input.

This workshop will provide a game demonstration. The game was developed to address the common scenarios that occur which cause stress and confusion in the battle to weigh client needs against agency ethos and program requirements. The game promotes motivational interviewing skills for problem-solving with consumers and coworkers alike.

No-show rate is a strong and independent predictor of patients falling out of care at the partnership that cares for 1,700 people with HIV in Philadelphia. A pilot study was created to address every no-show event in an effort to prevent patients from falling out of care.
