Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program will share its innovative approach toward the micro-elimination of Hepatitis C (HCV) for homeless-experienced people with HIV. Team members will share data around cure rates, reinfection, and engaging with marginalized patients, and discuss leveraging existing Ryan White infrastructure and resources for such efforts.

Unstable housing affects the ability of people with HIV to access, adhere to, and be retained in HIV medical care across the HIV care continuum. This session will outline establishment of community partnerships and implementation of housing, nutrition, and substance use treatment programs. It will detail contract development between the presenters’ clinic and community partners and outline how, following policy clarification notice (PCN) 16-02 guidance on allowable uses of program income, community partners are reimbursed in support of these programs.

Columbia University College of Dental Medicine has partnered with community partners to implement a dental care delivery system for PLWHA in NYC. A week-long Service Learning Rotation was integrated into the third-year dental student curriculum; data analysis from this pilot year will be used for program quality improvement and modification.
