The Ambassador Toolkit

Key messages can serve as talking points to describe what the Compilation is, how it can be used, and the benefits of engaging with it. These messages can be used in any setting, and are meant to be adapted to best fit the ambassador's tone and/or intention with sharing about the Compilation.

• Improve outcomes: The Best Practices Compilation gathers and shares what works in RWHAP-funded and similar settings to improve outcomes for people with HIV and to support replication by others.
• Effective approaches: The Best Practices Compilation includes effective approaches—also known as interventions—that are actively being used in HIV service delivery settings, to achieve optimal health outcomes for people with HIV. The approaches in the Compilation include clinical service delivery models, support service delivery models, technology and mobile health approaches, data-to-care approaches and more.
• Demonstrated effectiveness: All of the approaches included in the Best Practices Compilation have demonstrated effectiveness at improving client outcomes along the HIV care continuum and beyond (for example, food and housing security, employment, other sexually transmitted infections, etc.). Some have published evidence while others have shown their impact at the local level.
• Innovation and replication: The Best Practices Compilation houses and promotes innovative and effective approaches to HIV care that can be shared widely across the RWHAP. If other RWHAP-funded recipients and providers can replicate these highly innovative approaches and achieve improved health outcomes for their clients too, we can finally eliminate disparities and achieve health equity for all people with HIV.
• Collaborative effort: The utility and value of the Best Practices Compilation grow by the ongoing addition of approaches that programs and agencies undertake to improve HIV care and outcomes for clients.

• General Compilation information provides an overview of the Compilation and includes links to the Compilation's central functions.
• Function-specific information: Each draft highlights a specific function of the Compilation that can be shared via email (search and share).

• Our inclusion in the Best Practices Compilation reflects our commitment to implementing innovative, effective approaches to care.
• The Best Practices Compilation selected our approach [NAME] to add to the compendium of innovative and effective approaches to care. Our inclusion in the Compilation demonstrates how the high-quality standards we set for ourselves translate to high-quality care delivery for the people and communities we serve.
• By meeting the standards of excellence required for inclusion in the Best Practices Compilation, we can feel confident that we have developed an approach that truly meets the needs of the people and communities we serve.
• Our initiative's inclusion in the Best Practices Compilation as an [emerging/evidence-informed/evidence based intervention] speaks to our ability to effectively improve client outcomes along the HIV care continuum and/or beyond.
• The standards of excellence that facilitated our acceptance into the Best Practices Compilation apply to all our initiatives and programs. We aim to meet the high expectations established by the Compilation in each of our programs.
