Telepsychiatry has proven to provide better access and higher-quality care to patients who need psychiatric care as well as for those who have varying circumstances that make it difficult to engage in this service. Vivent Health has successfully integrated telepsychiatry within its medical home model. With two different service delivery methods, this presentation will look at the benefits of telepsychiatry for people with HIV, as well as the unique delivery methods Vivent Health provides in Wisconsin and Colorado.

Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program uses an innovative care model, designed from the margins, to meet the complex needs of people living at the intersections of HIV, homelessness, substance use disorder, and incarceration. Such models hold promise for closing HIV care and prevention equity gaps for this hyper-vulnerable group.

The Alabama Quality Management Group (AQMG) is a consortium of quality leaders representing all Alabama RWHAP Part C and D clinics, over 80% of Alabama's HIV-diagnosed population. Data for Care Alabama (D4C-AL), a CDC-funded retention-in-care project, uses risk-stratification based on missed visits. It is currently being implemented at one site but will continue to be implemented over time.

This presentation discusses results from the HRSA Special Projects of National Significance Evidence-Informed Approaches to Improving Health Outcomes for people with HIV project. It highlights the value of evidence scoring in conjunction with impact assessments of real-world experts and implementers to increase potential adoption and implementation success of evidence-based and evidence-informed interventions.

In this workshop, participants will gain knowledge, skills, and resources to use for engaging, retaining, and supporting viral suppression among vulnerable HIV populations. We will demonstrate training topics to improve staff skills and provide examples of activities, policies, and client interaction sessions to enhance service delivery systems.

Leadership Institute Session 1 focuses on the leadership of people with HIV and will cover the role and history of meaningful involvement of people with HIV. It will explore culturally responsive leadership, transformational leadership, and cultural humility. Facilitators will demonstrate formal and informal leadership skills. People with HIV are encouraged to attend.
