Designing and Conducting a Culturally Responsive Evaluation (CRE) of the SPNS BMSM Initiative
The Implementation of Evidence-Informed Behavioral Health Models to Improve HIV Health Outcomes for the BMSM Initiative seeks to engage, link, and retain black men who have sex with men in HIV medical care, behavioral health care, and supportive services. Utilizing Program Income and Community Partnerships to Address Challenges of Poverty in the Deep South
This session will outline establishment of community partnerships and implementation of housing, nutrition, and substance use treatment programs. It will detail contract development between the presenters’ clinic and community partners and outline how, following policy clarification notice (PCN) 16-02 guidance on allowable uses of program income, community partners are reimbursed in support of these programs.

Increasing Uptake of PrEP in Cis-Women Through a Health Educator-Driven Walk-In Sexual Health Clinic
Women in the U.S. represent only 7% of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) users. A free walk-in service in Washington, D.C., staffed by health educators was created and sought to reduce barriers to sexual health services, yielding an increase in female patients to 65% of new PrEP starts during a four-month pilot program.

Using Innovative Technology Strategies to Engage BMSM with HIV in Care
Three sites in the Special Projects of National Significance Black Men Who Have Sex with Men (BMSM) Initiative have developed and implemented innovative technology innovations to engage BMSM in care. These include apps, telemedicine, social media, and texting services that meet clients where they are and provide access to services. This presentation will describe product selection and early implementation experiences.
