Preliminary results from an ongoing RWHAP clinic initiative to use text messaging as a re-engagement strategy to bring lost patients back to care, which may be a more manageable and possibly equally effective re-engagement strategy when compared to phone outreach.

New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute Digital Health Initiative (DHI) coordinated digital health trainings to enhance practices among HIV program staff and may result in improved patient-provider communication, patient access to services and potentially health outcomes.

Oral health problems in people with HIV are common and access to oral health care remains inadequate. Co-location of RWHAP and dental clinic improves accessibility. Normative data needs and SWOT analyses indicated need for process improvement strategies involving providers for better data quality.
