The examples listed are from the Atlanta>AIDS Campaign, an EHE-funded, geographically targeted social media campaign to improve engagement in HIV care that used a variety of social media channels.
Goal: Encourage access and retention to care and treatment services for PWH by informing targeted
audiences of the availability of Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) services.

Through our work with EHE jurisdictions on monitoring and evaluation of social media/media (SMM) campaigns, TAP-in developed some initial guidance and tools that can serve as a starting point for EHE-funded jurisdictions in planning for and implementing how they are going to track and measure success, impact, and opportunities to improve their EHE SMM campaigns.

Surveys for clients can be administered in clinic/agency settings to determine if the campaign influenced clients to seek care at the agency/clinic. The sample survey can be adopted to evaluate the reach and response to social and traditional media campaigns.

The role of nurses in identifying and addressing social determinants of health in order to enhance viral suppression among people with HIV.

In collaboration with Tennessee Department of Corrections, we developed and implemented a stepwise HIV telemedicine program to optimize viral suppression in the state prisons during 2010-2018. Clinic attendance increased from 50 percent to 90 percent during full implementation. Viral suppression increased from 30 percent in 2010 to 90 percent in 2018.

This session will share findings from the 2021 National Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) TA Implementation Meeting. The meeting provided increased opportunities for alignment and showcased disruptively innovative components forecasting future needs and highlighting EHE TA/CBA providers.

Significant challenges exist in vaccinating people with HIV for COVID-19. Our RWPC program set out to implement and evaluate a vaccine initiative for COVID-19 for people with HIV. We achieved vaccine rates of 78 percent being fully vaccinated by December 1, 2021 and 30 percent having a third dose.
