Using Shared Measures among the AQMG to Increase Retention-In-Care among Alabama's Ryan White Clinics
The Alabama Quality Management Group (AQMG) is a consortium of quality leaders representing all Alabama RWHAP Part C and D clinics, over 80% of Alabama's HIV-diagnosed population. Data for Care Alabama (D4C-AL), a CDC-funded retention-in-care project, uses risk-stratification based on missed visits. It is currently being implemented at one site but will continue to be implemented over time.

A Novel Process for Determining Evidence and Impact of Retention and Re-Engagement Interventions for Dissemination
This presentation discusses results from the HRSA Special Projects of National Significance Evidence-Informed Approaches to Improving Health Outcomes for people with HIV project. It highlights the value of evidence scoring in conjunction with impact assessments of real-world experts and implementers to increase potential adoption and implementation success of evidence-based and evidence-informed interventions.

Expanding Oral Healthcare Access Through an ADAP-Designed Dental Program
In 2019, the Louisiana AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) partnered with a leading private dental insurer to design a group dental plan modeled after an employer-sponsored plan, specifically tailored to the needs of people with HIV. Both utilization and client satisfaction rose significantly following the adoption of the plan.

Oral Health Services: Gaining Control by Giving Up Control
The Utah Ryan White Part B program has seen great success by contracting with a national dental plan administrator. The program will share lessons learned and tips in moving from an in-house model to a plan administrator model.

A Trauma-Informed Approach to Integrating HIV Primary Care and Behavioral Health Services
To better integrate primary care with behavioral health services, providers were trained on trauma-informed care and contracts and standards of care were modified to require that medical providers conduct mental health screenings. Using a Multidisciplinary Approach to Improve Retention in HIV Care
MacGregor Infectious Diseases, a hospital-based clinic affiliated with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, implemented a multidisciplinary approach to strengthen outreach to clients and improve care retention.
