Community health care workers (CHWs) represent the voice of the community and play a vital role in linkage and retention to care. DC Health piloted three innovative care models to strategically ensure the community's voice is permanently embedded in HIV services.

Benefits are present for youth prevention services. Rapid access models are feasible and beneficial for youth HIV care and prevention.
