The Max Clinic Rapid Start Site Profile

The Max Clinic is a community health center based in Seattle, Washington. It was established in partnership with staff at the Madison Clinic, an HIV specialty treatment care center, and the Public Health Sexual Health Clinic, a walk-in STI clinic with comprehensive sexual health services to serve clients with numerous barriers to care. The Max Clinic supports clients who have complex medical and social needs, including unstable housing, mental health and substance use disorders, many of whom are are not well-engaged in HIV care. They utilize a unique, incentivized approach to retain clients in care.
