Training modules are now available on how to use public health surveillance data, along with clinical data, to track efforts in getting people co-infected with HIV and hepatitis C engaged in care and on effective treatment.
The HIV/HCV Viral Clearance Cascade Training Series consists of four modules--short videos (none more than 5 minutes long)--that detail steps to creating, and acting upon, HIV and hepatitis C viral clearance cascades, which track progress from moving infected individuals toward treatment. A companion document presents more detailed information.
The modules were created by the HRSA-funded SPNS Initiative, Leveraging a Data to Care Approach to Cure Hepatitis C within the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program.
