The STAR Program, a Ryan White Part C program, initiated a 30-minute, weekly televised TV health magazine that engages the community across multiple social media and television platforms with a focus on health particularly HIV treatment and Prevention, reaching young adults. Through the Southern Initiative, CAI supported four Part A agencies in the South in integrating a Community Health Worker (CHW) model to address disparities in HIV outcomes. The session will describe the development of systems to collect, report, and use real-time data to track implementation progress and client outcomes. Results reveal promising client outcomes.

Rapid has developed into a core feature of the Dorothy Mann Center HIV care continuum, assuring immediate linkage to expert HIV services, immediate initiation of therapy, and rapid viral suppression. Benefits are present for youth prevention services. Rapid access models are feasible and beneficial for youth HIV care and prevention.

A clinic-based substance abuse screening and treatment program is described. Using the Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment model, this provides annual proactive screening of alcohol/drug use, with a brief provider response and a follow-up motivational interviewing brief intervention, with treatment provided by an embedded provider.

Oklahoma has been classified by the Department of Health and Human Services as one of the seven states with a high rural HIV burden. Test-and-treat protocols are feasible within high-volume HIV clinics which serve rural and underserved communities to minimize the time to the first appointment to decrease time to viral load suppression.

This workshop will present findings from three recently completed HRSA/HAB-sponsored studies that evaluated the impact of the RWHAP, specifically regarding its cost-effectiveness, models of clinical care, and factors associated with viral suppression.

Undetectable=Untransmittable: individuals who maintain viral suppression don't transmit HIV to their sexual partners. Yet some providers are uncomfortable discussing the implications of viral suppression in clinical encounters. This workshop will explore approaches to reduce provider discomfort in discussing U=U and present strategies to convey this message.

This presentation assesses social determinants that affect the HIV continuum of care. Establish patterns at the economic, demographic, and sociocultural factors that may fragment or, in a worst-case scenario, interrupt access to HIV testing, biomedical prevention, follow-up to a positive diagnosis, and adherence to treatment.

Prism Health North Texas will share the challenges and successes of adapting Ryan White case management tools and strategies to a pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) program for behavioral intervention. Panelists will detail how they took lessons learned from case management to HIV prevention to become status neutral.
