In this webinar, presenters reviewed the updated Unmet Need Framework for RWHAP Part A and B recipients and highlighted the difference between the required and enhanced estimates and analyses. Given that enhanced estimates and analyses are strongly encouraged by HRSA HAB, presenters discussed approaches to support recipients in expanding estimates and analyses.
These approaches will include possible linked databases to utilize for the estimates and the benefits of subpopulation analyses for understanding disparities in HIV care and treatment.

Staff will present a population-based, data-driven approach to the Minority AIDS Initiative (MAI) funding designed to improve program engagement and retention to reduce health disparities and maximize health outcomes. Presenters will review methods to facilitate replication of the model in other Ryan White programs.

Learn about best practices for improving the quality of oral healthcare from a tested delivery model at Grady Health System. A presentation on HAB's performance measures for oral health and the utilization of data to improve care will also be shared.

HIV care measures for people with HIV enrolled in the Massachusetts AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) were compared to people with HIV not currently enrolled; results indicate that enrollees have higher frequencies of engagement and retention in care and viral suppression. Evaluation of the data provides insight that enhances programming and service delivery to reduce health disparities.

The road to ending the epidemic must be paved with community engagement. Community health care workers (CHWs) represent the voice of the community and play a vital role in linkage and retention to care. DC Health piloted three innovative care models to strategically ensure the community's voice is permanently embedded in HIV services.

Through the Southern Initiative, CAI supported four Part A agencies in the South in integrating a Community Health Worker (CHW) model to address disparities in HIV outcomes. The session will describe the development of systems to collect, report, and use real-time data to track implementation progress and client outcomes. Results reveal promising client outcomes.

University of Mississippi Medical Center utilized known barriers to care for postpartum women with HIV and leveraged that information to schedule individualized interactions with pregnant and postpartum women with HIV. This low-cost, low-effort initiative resulted in statistically significant improvements in both retention in care and viral suppression rates in postpartum women with HIV.
