This session will give information on the RWHAP SPNS Social Media Initiative (SMI), which used social media and digital technology to improve HIV outcomes for young people. It will provide cross-site outcomes from 10 demonstration sites. Three sites will discuss demonstration models. Resources for replicating the intervention models will be presented.

Presentation of a mixed-methods needs assessment to inform a multi-site evaluation plan for a HRSA Special Projects of National Significance (SPNS) project to improve bacterial STI screening, testing, and treatment among people with or at risk for HIV will be presented, including findings, selected evidence-based interventions, and a proposed multi-site evaluation plan.

Care coordination providers in New York City have received comprehensive, multi-day training to develop and enhance skills for the effective delivery of patient navigation services. Training design supports navigation of healthcare and social services, coordination of logistics to support retention in care, adherence support, and viral suppression.

The HealthCare.gov Open Enrollment period for signing up for health coverage has been expanded and will now run from November 1, 2021 through January 15, 2022. (Some state enrollment periods vary.)
