Additional technical tools for data reporting for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) have been released by the HRSA-funded technical assistance provider, DISQ (the Data Integration, Systems and Quality Team). TAP-in supports the 47 EHE jurisdictions funded by HRSA to strengthen their EHE work plans, promote cross-jurisdictional learning, and ensure jurisdictions have access to the resources they need. Project period: 2020-2025.

The STAR Program, a Ryan White Part C program, initiated a 30-minute, weekly televised TV health magazine that engages the community across multiple social media and television platforms with a focus on health particularly HIV treatment and Prevention, reaching young adults. The presentation will cover the efficacy of +Love, a five-pronged intervention in New Orleans, involving a dedicated case manager, therapist, peer support, ride service, and text-based alert program that tracks clients' basic needs, mood, and provides medication reminders, in improving the healthcare and treatment satisfaction of young, black men who have sex with men (MSM) with HIV.

This workshop will explore two sites' (Brooklyn and Detroit) experience with the implementation of an evidence-informed intervention for black men who have sex with men (MSM) with HIV. The project seeks to improve HIV outcomes through the use of a culturally tailored intervention for Black MSM, the Text Messaging Intervention to Improve Antiretroviral Adherence among youth with HIV (TXTXT).

The Kaiser Family Foundation shares best practices and strategies from its Greater Than AIDS campaign for using digital and traditional media to reach populations most affected by HIV. Greater Than AIDS videos and information resources are available at no cost to Ryan White recipients and subrecipients.

This session will give a firsthand perspective on aging with HIV, provide an overview of RWHAP aging data, summarize medical conditions and psychosocial needs facing aging clients, and review HRSA initiatives.

This session will give information on the RWHAP SPNS Social Media Initiative (SMI), which used social media and digital technology to improve HIV outcomes for young people. It will provide cross-site outcomes from 10 demonstration sites. Three sites will discuss demonstration models. Resources for replicating the intervention models will be presented.

People with HIV 50 years and older is a rapidly increasing population with unique needs. The presentation summarizes a population-based approach to assess those needs and to respond with training and other resources. Presenters will describe the implementation of the approach by the New York City EMA in partnership with the Northeast/Caribbean AETC.
