UCLA Family AIDS Network, a Ryan White Part D recipient, will present its new Women and HIV bilingual education video series covering the topics of mental health and pregnancy. The videos are an educational tool and innovative way organizations can encourage authentic, genuine, and holistic conversations between consumers and providers.

This workshop will describe how the Los Angeles Area AETC developed an inter-professional practice (IPP) program with the Charles Drew NP program, USC’s School of Pharmacy, UCLA’s School of Medicine, and the West LA’s psychiatric residency program -- along with five Ryan White clinics -- to help develop the next generation of HIV teams.

The AIDS Institute will present its analysis of RWHAP funding for the Ending the HIV Epidemic states and jurisdictions in the context of resource allocation to meet the initiative goals and ensure the success of ending the epidemic. Additionally, presenters representing a local jurisdiction will provide their planning and operational experience through the initiative.

All RWHAP recipients and providers will experience an increase in their aging population and will need to respond. This session will give a firsthand perspective on aging with HIV, provide an overview of RWHAP aging data, summarize medical conditions and psychosocial needs facing aging clients, and review HRSA initiatives.
