Tailoring HIV Care Training to Students' Interests in Interprofessional Education
Trainees in a rural, low-incidence state had lower interest in ART and HIV primary care, but more interest in other topics such as motivational interviewing, opioid use, mental health, and culture. HCV Linkage, Screening, and Treatment among Co-infected Clients: Enhancing CAREWare and Electronic Health Records
As HIV elimination activities increase, jurisdictions can address HIV/Hepatitis C (HCV) co-infection by enhancing HCV screening and treatment data collection. This session will discuss NASTAD's work with North Carolina to incorporate HCV data in CAREWare and electronic health records (EHRs), as well as recommendations for integrating HCV services into the HIV care infrastructure.

Rhode Island's Path to ADAP Automation
The session will discuss lessons learned from the Rhode Island's path to the AIDS Drugs Assistance Program (ADAP) automation through the implementation of the Lifia Portal. The Lifia portal is a tool designed to manage client enrollment, eligibility and benefits, streamline and take an ADAP program to the next level.

Test-and-Treat Protocol in a Rural State To Decrease Time to Undetectable Viral Load
Oklahoma has been classified by the Department of Health and Human Services as one of the seven states with a high rural HIV burden. Test-and-treat protocols are feasible within high-volume HIV clinics which serve rural and underserved communities to minimize the time to the first appointment to decrease time to viral load suppression.

Managing Multiple Data Sources and Overcoming Interoperability Barriers for HIV Care
This session will help recipient and subrecipient sites to successfully connect their CAREWare and other electronic health information systems with external sources of data to report and monitor HIV care and treatment outcomes. Data to Care: Efficiently Using Technology to Create a True Out-of-Care List

Training a National HIV Workforce: Outcomes from the National AIDS Education Training Centers Evaluation
This workshop will highlight the AIDS Education Training Centers' (AETC) Core Training activities from 2016 through 2019, focusing on types of providers reached, priority training topics, and training modalities. Two AETCs will share experiences engaging rural jurisdictions with low-volume HIV providers and approaches for reaching providers in the Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative jurisdictions.
