HIV care measures for people with HIV enrolled in the Massachusetts AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) were compared to people with HIV not currently enrolled; results indicate that enrollees have higher frequencies of engagement and retention in care and viral suppression. Evaluation of the data provides insight that enhances programming and service delivery to reduce health disparities.

The STAR Program, a Ryan White Part C program, initiated a 30-minute, weekly televised TV health magazine that engages the community across multiple social media and television platforms with a focus on health particularly HIV treatment and Prevention, reaching young adults. The Alabama Quality Management Group (AQMG) is a consortium of quality leaders representing all Alabama RWHAP Part C and D clinics, over 80% of Alabama's HIV-diagnosed population. Data for Care Alabama (D4C-AL), a CDC-funded retention-in-care project, uses risk-stratification based on missed visits. It is currently being implemented at one site but will continue to be implemented over time.

This presentation discusses results from the HRSA Special Projects of National Significance Evidence-Informed Approaches to Improving Health Outcomes for people with HIV project. It highlights the value of evidence scoring in conjunction with impact assessments of real-world experts and implementers to increase potential adoption and implementation success of evidence-based and evidence-informed interventions.

Undetectable=Untransmittable: individuals who maintain viral suppression don't transmit HIV to their sexual partners. Yet some providers are uncomfortable discussing the implications of viral suppression in clinical encounters. This workshop will explore approaches to reduce provider discomfort in discussing U=U and present strategies to convey this message.
