The goal of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Recipient Compilation of Best Practice Strategies and Interventions (Best Practices Compilation) is to document existing best practice strategies and interventions that have been shown to improve HIV outcomes in a ‘real world’ setting and can be replicated by other programs. The online Best Practices Compilation will be housed on TargetHIV.org and structured to allow programs to easily search and identify best practices.
What strategies and interventions will be included in the RHWAP Recipient Compilation of Best Practices?
Criteria to identify RWHAP Parts A-D best practice strategies and interventions for the compilation will be guided by an implementation science framework. The ultimate goal is to systematically document existing strategies and interventions that have been shown to improve HIV outcomes in a ‘real world’ setting and can be replicated by other programs.
The compilation will draw upon existing HRSA HAB and RWHAP recipient and subrecipient best practice strategies and interventions that yield the best health outcomes and public health impact. Additional and emerging strategies and practices will also be a major focus of this project with selected best practices identified and documented through site visit data collection.
How will the best practice strategies and interventions be collected?
The online submission form will be available on TargetHIV.org for RWHAP recipients and subrecipients to submit strategies and interventions. RWHAP recipients are encouraged to reach out with any questions or program ideas via [email protected].
